Beats released a Festive Special Edition Solo Buds today celebrating India’s rich, vibrant traditions. The earbuds and case feature a two-toned bright and burnt orange with purple accents, inspired by diya lamps and the intricate artwork of the rangolis adorning many homes.
Beats collaborated with the legendary Delhi-based designer Aaquib Wani for the elaborate packaging design, who incorporated traditional elements and colours to honour themes of abundance, beauty and spirituality. “It was an exciting challenge to create a design that not only reflects the festive spirit of Diwali but also resonates with Beats’ identity,” says Aaquib Wani. “Through the use of traditional motifs, vibrant colors, and intricate details, we aimed to evoke a sense of celebration, beauty, and cultural richness, while maintaining the sleek, modern aesthetic that defines Beats.”
Beats Solo Buds delivers incredibly big sound, up to a whopping 18 hours of battery life, seamless one-touch pairing to both iOS and Android devices and USB-C charging, all packed into the smallest case Beats has ever made. In addition to the Festive edition, Beats Solo Buds is also available in four premium colors, Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple and Transparent Red, for INR 6,900.
