BharathCloud opens second Hyderabad office, plans to hire over 500 people

Hyderabad-based BharathCloud, which describes itself as a sovereign AI cloud services provider, has opened a second office in Hyderabad and says it plans to onboard more than 500 employees.

The new office covers roughly 10,000 sq. ft. at Mindspace IT Park, HUDA Techno Enclave, HITEC City. BharathCloud says it will support the company’s cloud and AI infrastructure business and house a planned Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC) meant to improve infrastructure monitoring and service reliability.

The hiring is expected to span cloud engineering, AI infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, customer support and business operations. The release gives no timeline for the hiring and does not say how many of the roles are new or how many staff the company has today.

On the GNOC, the company says further details on its launch and capabilities will be announced separately.

“BharathCloud started its journey in Hyderabad in 2021, and the city continues to be central to our growth,” said Rahul Takkallapally, Co-Founder of BharathCloud. “This new office is more than an expansion of space.”

Padma Reddy Sama, CTO and Co-Founder, said: “As businesses adopt more cloud and AI, reliable infrastructure and responsive service delivery become increasingly important.”

The company says the expansion follows the launch of its first AI-ready sovereign cloud centre at CtrlS Datacenters’ Hyderabad DC1 facility, and the appointment of real-estate services firm JLL as an advisory partner for a planned rollout of AI-ready sovereign cloud infrastructure across India and select international locations.

The release does not define what “sovereign” means for BharathCloud’s service, name customers, or give capacity, investment or revenue figures. The hiring plan, the GNOC and the wider rollout are intentions, not completed work.
