AllCargo adopts Oracle Fusion

Allcargo Logistics moves finance to Oracle Fusion Cloud, says month-end close is 30% faster

Allcargo Logistics has moved its finance operations from legacy on-premises systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and says it has cut its month-end close time by 30%, according to Oracle.

Allcargo, founded in 1993, says it runs more than 700 facilities in India serving sectors such as e-commerce, automobiles and pharmaceuticals. Oracle says the company wanted a scalable cloud platform that uses AI to automate routine work, provide real-time visibility and strengthen controls, and chose Oracle after an evaluation.

Allcargo has put more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units on a single platform, said Sanjay Khiyani, its chief information officer. “Digital transformation is central to our long-term growth strategy and our commitment to operational excellence,” he said. The platform gives the company “a foundation to use AI to simplify how work gets done, strengthen visibility, and support our continued growth.”

Oracle says the company has standardised core processes, reduced manual work through automation and tightened governance and visibility, using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement has also been used to automate end-to-end purchasing and give teams a consistent view of buying across its distributed operations, the release says.

Shailesh Singla, vice president of Cloud Applications at Oracle India, said Oracle’s AI and “Fusion Agentic Applications” help Allcargo “automate routine tasks and move work forward,” so teams spend “less time managing processes and more time applying judgment.”

The release does not say what the month-end close time was before, when the migration was completed, how long it took, or what it cost. The 30% figure is not independently verified, and it is the only measured result reported.
