TwinCafe, the AI-powered digital twin platform developed by Viven AI, has appointed Amit Dubey, a national security expert, author and cybersecurity evangelist, as Mentor and Cybersecurity Advisor. The company says the move reflects its commitment to building a platform that people and institutions can trust as it scales across India.

Dubey will advise on the platform’s security architecture and is launching his own digital twin on TwinCafe, an AI version of himself that will offer cybersecurity guidance to the public. The appointment follows author Chetan Bhagat joining TwinCafe as Chief Creative Officer and co-investor, the company said.
“My Digital Twin on TwinCafe means that a student in a small town, a first-time entrepreneur, a working professional, or a senior citizen worried about online fraud can get guidance grounded in real investigative experience, any time they need it,” Dubey said. “Trust is the foundation of everything we do at TwinCafe, and that is exactly what I am here to protect.”
Ashutosh Garg, Founder and CEO of TwinCafe, said: “Digital twins are only as valuable as the trust people place in them. As we bring the knowledge of India’s leading voices onto TwinCafe, keeping every twin and every conversation secure is non-negotiable.”
The company points to rising cyber risk as the backdrop. It cites the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2026 as ranking cyber insecurity as India’s top national risk, CERT-In data showing over 29.44 lakh cyber incidents in 2025 with a 30% increase projected for 2026, and a Thales 2026 Data Threat Report finding that 65% of organisations in India have faced deepfake-driven attacks. These figures are as cited by TwinCafe and were not independently checked.
Dubey is an author and researcher in AI and quantum computing who heads the team at MakersLab, according to the release. He hosts Hidden Files on 93.5 Red FM and Cyber Crime Ki Duniya – Bach Ke Rahna on DD National, and says he has trained over 900,000 police officers, judges and bureaucrats. His book Hidden Files was adapted into the Amazon Prime series HACK Crime Online.
TwinCafe, formerly AskSila, lets people create AI versions of themselves that reflect their knowledge, voice and personality. It was founded by Ashutosh Garg, previously behind Bloomreach and Eightfold AI, and Viven AI is backed by US$35 million in seed funding from Khosla Ventures and Foundation Capital, the company said.
The release does not say how the digital twin will be priced or when it will go live, or how TwinCafe verifies that the guidance a twin gives matches what the expert would say.
