Job platform apna is borrowing the festive-sale playbook for business recruitment. Its new “apna Hiring Utsav” campaign pairs annual hiring plans at festive prices with Dussehra-themed storytelling, aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs).
The campaign opens with “Hiring Ka Ravan”, a ten-headed Ravan in a business suit. Each head stands for a common employer headache: interview no-shows, candidates who drop off before joining, staff shortages and hiring costs. The company’s argument is that festive offers are seasonal, but the need to hire runs all year, so small businesses should plan their recruitment for the year ahead.
To take the idea to business owners, apna is running a branded mobile van in Bengaluru, where recruiters can meet its representatives, discuss their hiring needs and look at annual plans. The company calls it part of a wider series of festive engagements to reach SMBs beyond conventional advertising. It did not say how long the van will run or which areas it will visit.
Select annual hiring plans are priced at ₹9,999, with savings of up to 37%, under the line “Saal bhar hiring. Festive wali savings.” The options include job-credit packages and apna Unlimited subscription plans covering a single-city cluster or multiple cities. The release does not say what the ₹9,999 plan includes, what the 37% is measured against, or how long the offer lasts. It says terms and conditions apply.
Apna says it has over 6 crore candidates across sales, finance, customer service, retail, logistics and gig roles. It lists radius-based candidate search, AI-powered matching and direct database access among its tools for employers, along with a recently launched recruiter app. Those figures and features are the company’s own.
