Sports brand Boldfit has raised over ₹400 crore in a Series B round led by Bharat Value Fund, managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, part of Pantomath Group. Existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also participated.
Founded by Pallav Bihani, Boldfit sells performance sportswear, athletic footwear, sports equipment and fitness essentials. The company says it serves over 2 crore customers annually and is strengthening its integrated product development and manufacturing.
The fresh capital will go towards nationwide retail expansion, product innovation and manufacturing. Boldfit says it will also selectively pursue inorganic opportunities to strengthen its category presence. Avendus Capital was the exclusive financial advisor on the deal.
Boldfit had raised ₹110 crore from Bessemer in its Series A in 2024, and cricketer KL Rahul and tennis player Sania Mirza are among its investors, the company said. The release does not disclose the company’s valuation.
“We believe India is entering a defining era for sport. Our ambition is to see India become a sporting powerhouse, with greater participation, stronger sporting talent and many more medals on the world stage,” said Bihani, Founder and CEO.
Madhu Lunawat, Founder and Whole-time Director of The Wealth Company Asset Management, said: “India is undergoing a fundamental shift in how it engages with fitness and sports.” He added that Bihani has achieved “rapid, category-defining scale anchored by profitability.” The investment is Bharat Value Fund’s largest in the consumer sector to date, the release says.
