vivo India has put two of its newest smartphones on sale: the V80, a ₹62,999 phone pitched at everyday content creators, and the X Fold6, a ₹2,19,999 foldable pitched at productivity. Both went on sale on October 13, 2026, through the vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores, the company said.
vivo V80: video and a big battery
The V80 is priced at ₹62,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹69,999 for 8GB + 256GB and ₹79,999 for 8GB + 512GB, inclusive of taxes. It comes in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black.
vivo’s headline features are 4K Cinematic Video, which it says is available only in 4K 60fps mode, and ZEISS co-engineered imaging. The rear camera is a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto unit with a Sony IMX882 sensor, optical image stabilisation and 3X optical zoom, and the front camera is a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie unit. The phone has a 144Hz 1.5K OLED display with up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, though the company says 144Hz works only in selected apps. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and ships with OriginOS 7, which vivo says makes it the first V-Series phone to do so.
The battery is rated 7,200mAh typical (7,015mAh rated) with 90W charging, which vivo calls the largest on a V-Series phone. That claim, like the “smoothest display” claim, is based on vivo’s internal research as of October 6, 2026, among V-Series phones launched in India. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings and six years of security updates. AI features include an AI Creative Camera with more than 30 styles and a festive AI Diwali Portrait 2.0, which vivo says is available only from October 10 to November 20.

vivo X Fold6: a pocketable workspace
The X Fold6 is priced at ₹2,19,999 for a single 12GB + 512GB variant, in Nebula Teal and Prism Black. It has an 8.02-inch main display and a 6.51-inch cover display, both with 1–120Hz adaptive refresh and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, powered by the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor.
On the camera side, vivo lists a 200MP ZEISS co-engineered main camera, a ZEISS APO telephoto with a Sony LYTIA 602 sensor, up to 100X HyperZoom and 4K 60fps video in Dolby Vision. The productivity pitch rests on OriginOS 7: Origin Workbench with AI Cross-App Drag supports a primary task plus up to four supporting apps, Multi-Split Screen handles up to four resizable windows, and Desktop Mode works with a compatible PC or smart TV. The phone has a 6,900mAh battery (6,670mAh rated), which vivo calls the largest among foldables in India, with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.
