The Jharkhand T20 Cricket League (JT20CL) has emerged as a significant new property in India’s state-level franchise cricket ecosystem, with its inaugural season demonstrating strong commercial and growth potential. The league, owned by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and organised and managed by AV24 Sports Private Limited, featured six franchises and 27 matches during its inaugural 2026 season at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. The league’s commercial framework includes franchise rights, sponsorship, media and digital rights, advertising, ticketing and hospitality, merchandising, digital content and future sports properties.

The inaugural season has provided several important commercial validation points for the league, including national OTT distribution through JioHotstar, and national TV distribution via DD Sports, title sponsorship, participation from established brands and a six-franchise structure representing different districts and regions of Jharkhand.

The league’s 2026 season comprised 24 league matches, two semi-finals and a final, creating a 27-match professional cricket property with recurring commercial inventory. Projected revenue from operations rises from approximately ₹38.50 crore in Season 2 to ₹311.04 crore by Season 10, with the report applying a projected growth trajectory as the league scales its franchise, sponsorship, media and other commercial opportunities.
