Kauvery Hospital Deploys Secure Clinical Communication Platform Across Its Network

Kauvery Hospital, one of India’s leading multi-specialty healthcare providers, has deployed the NetSfere Secure Communications Platform across its hospital network to strengthen clinical communication and protect sensitive patient information. With 12 hospitals in 6 locations where 900+ doctors and 7000+ clinical staff are deployed, the initiative will enable secure communication across distributed care teams while supporting the Group’s data-protection and digital-health priorities.

The deployment builds on Kauvery Hospital’s established focus on digital health and data security. As one of India’s early private healthcare providers to receive Platinum certification under the NABH Digital Health Standards, the Group is further strengthening its digital foundation through a secure communication infrastructure. To be implemented over the next three years, the deployment will benefit 12000+ users and 00+ teams, enhance patient-data protection and support the Group’s readiness for evolving regulatory requirements, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

Dr Manivannan Selvaraj, Founder and Managing Director, Kauvery Group of Hospitals, said, “As Kauvery Hospital expands, our digital infrastructure must evolve alongside our clinical capabilities. Our NABH Digital Health Platinum certification reflects our focus on patient data security, and the deployment of NetSfere further strengthens secure communication across our network. This is an important step towards coordinated care and a future-ready healthcare ecosystem.”

Anurag Lal, President and CEO, NetSfere, said, “As healthcare becomes increasingly digital and connected, secure communication is essential. Kauvery Hospital is taking a forward-looking approach by strengthening data protection while enabling faster collaboration across care teams.”

As Kauvery Hospital expands its network and clinical workforce, secure and reliable communication is becoming increasingly important to ensure seamless coordination across teams and locations. NetSfere will provide the Group with an enterprise-controlled communication platform, offering a secure alternative to fragmented communication systems and consumer messaging applications.

Strengthening Digital Health Infrastructure

Healthcare teams routinely exchange time-sensitive clinical and operational information across locations, making secure communication essential for patient-data protection, access control and accountability. Through NetSfere, Kauvery Hospital is establishing a centrally governed communication environment that enables faster coordination across distributed teams while strengthening control, visibility and auditability.

The deployment includes:

  • Secure, mobile-first communication designed for clinical and operational teams
  • End-to-end and quantum-resilient encryption to protect sensitive information
  • Centralised governance, access controls and audit trails
  • India-based deployment supporting local data governance
  • Enterprise-grade security controls and certifications
  • AI-enabled capabilities to improve information access and workflow efficiency
  • Enables clinical and operational teams to move away from consumer messaging applications to a secure, enterprise-governed communication platform

The initiative reflects a broader shift across the healthcare sector, where secure digital communication is becoming integral to protecting patient data, enabling coordinated care      emergency broadcasts: send critical alerts with attention grabbing tones and full screen notifications and strengthening digital health infrastructure.
