Hemant Jain, Joint Managing Director, said the quarter was “resilient” and was delivered “against a challenging external environment”. He pointed to the calendar: “With key festive occasions such as Navratri and Durga Puja falling in October this year, as against September, a part of the anticipated festive demand has shifted into Q3FY27.”

That shift helps explain why Q2 revenue growth of 5% trailed the half-year’s 11%. The company has not said how much demand moved or what it expects for Q3.

Jain said the company was “particularly encouraged by the performance of Kraus, which has delivered robust sales growth alongside strong EBITDA margins.” The company has not published Kraus’s sales or margin figures in this announcement.

He added that “our priorities remain firmly centred on creating a sustainable business model with profitable growth,” and that the company’s “strong balance sheet provides us with a solid foundation to navigate the evolving market environment.” The announcement does not give balance sheet figures, cash or debt levels, or guidance for the rest of the year.

All figures are the company’s own, as stated in its announcement, and were not independently verified.
