Nemetschek launches Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max, premium AI tiers for architects, engineers and builders

The Nemetschek Group has rolled out a family of premium AI offerings across its design, engineering and construction software: Archicad Max for architecture, Allplan Max for engineering and Bluebeam Max for construction. All three run on the company’s Nemetschek Intelligence Platform, a shared AI and data foundation.

Nemetschek says the tools aim to take over repetitive work, make project data easier to find and keep professionals in charge of decisions. “AI in our industry only creates real value when it understands the project, works where professionals work and connects with everything else on the job,” said Julian Geiger, the Group’s Chief AI Officer.

Archicad Max is Graphisoft’s new premium subscription. It includes an agentic AI Assistant (beta) that completes multi-step tasks in the Archicad model, AI Assistant Spaces grounded in a firm’s own standards, and an updated AI Visualizer. Subscribers also get early access to the Nemetschek Creator, a browser-based early-stage design platform, with full access when the commercial version is released in 2027. It is available with Archicad 30 and rolling out by region.

Allplan Max 2027 extends AI across the Allplan, SCIA, FRILO, RISA and SDS2 engineering products, with tools such as an AI BIM Modeler, AI Structural Analyst and AI Drafter. Nemetschek says early beta users reported up to 36% faster completion of selected tasks. It is available globally.

Bluebeam Max, available globally since May 2026, adds Smart Review, Smart Overlay and Magic Markups to Bluebeam Revu. The company says more than 2,000 early adopters reported “significant productivity gains”, without giving figures. It has been free for eligible students and educators worldwide since September 2026.

Nemetschek also stresses openness. The tools support the Model Context Protocol, so outside AI applications can connect. Bluebeam Max works with Anthropic’s Claude, GitHub Copilot CLI and AnythingLLM, and Archicad Max includes a public MCP server in beta. It says professionals stay accountable for what the AI proposes.

The release provides no pricing and says availability, features, beta status, and packaging vary by product, plan, and region. The productivity claims come from the company’s own beta users and were not independently verified.
