Sushilkumar Agrawal, CEO of Ultra Media & Entertainment Group, has been elected Vice President of the Producers Guild of India at the Guild’s 72nd Annual General Meeting in Mumbai. Shibasish Sarkar was unanimously re-elected as President.

Agrawal has served as a Council Member of the Guild for the past 20 years. A first-generation entrepreneur, he began his career in 1982 acquiring rights to classic and contemporary films and played a role in introducing VHS and VCD technology to India. Ultra Media & Entertainment today operates across content production, acquisition, distribution and syndication, with a library of over 3,500 films, 18,000 TV episodes and 25,000 songs, alongside OTT platforms Ultra Play, Ultra Jhakaas and Ultra Gaane. He is currently focused on regional cinema production in Marathi, Gujarati and Malayalam. He also serves as a Director of The Indian Performing Right Society Ltd. (IPRS) and is a Committee Member and former President of the Entertainment Content Owners Association of India.

Hiren Gada was also elected Vice President. Manish Goswami, Madhu Bhojwani, Ankur Garg and Aashish Singh were re-elected as Vice Presidents, while Ashim Samanta and Fazila Allana were re-elected as Treasurers.
