Union Mutual Fund has taken its investor awareness campaign, ‘Tukka Nahi, Tareeka Chahiye’ (roughly, “not a guess, a method”), onto Mumbai Metro Line 1, aiming to reach commuters between Ghatkopar and Versova.
Mumbai, October 15, 2026: The fund house, sponsored by Union Bank of India and Daiichi Life Group, Inc., said the metro branding is the next phase of a campaign that so far has run through an ad film, digital content, social media and on-ground events. The branding appears at various places inside the trains, the company said.
The campaign is built on the idea that investing should rest on a clear method and long-term discipline, not guesswork. Union MF said lakhs of passengers use the corridor every day and that it wants to meet people “where they spend a significant part of their routine.”
Rajkamal Tiwari, CEO of Union Asset Management Company, said: “Mumbai is a city that thrives on discipline, planning and consistency, values that are equally important when it comes to investing. Through our presence on Mumbai Metro, we are taking the message of ‘Tukka Nahi, Tareeka Chahiye’ closer to people in their everyday lives.”
The announcement does not say how long the metro branding will run, how many trains carry it, what it cost, or whether the company will measure its results. The “lakhs of daily commuters” figure describes the corridor’s ridership, not how many people will see the ads.
