Vivo S2 FE with 10,000 mAh battery goes on sale in India on October 20 at ₹38,999

Vivo has launched the S2 FE in India, with sales starting October 20. The phone’s main selling point is a 10,000 mAh battery, which the company calls its largest yet.

Price and availability

  • 6GB + 128GB: ₹38,999
  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹42,999

The phone will be sold at partner retail stores, vivo.com/in, Flipkart and Amazon.in. Launch offers include up to 10% instant cashback on listed cards and UPI, or a 10% exchange bonus, or up to 15 months of zero down payment (12 months of no-cost EMI online). Prices and offers may change, vivo says.

What vivo says about it

  • Battery: The typical capacity is 10,000 mAh, with a rated capacity of 9,800 mAh. Vivo claims a seven-year life, based on lab tests, with capacity staying at 80% or more after 1,400 cycles. Reverse charging for other devices is limited to 6W. The release does not give a wired charging speed.
  • Display and chip: A 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 120Hz in selected apps and up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chip.
  • Cameras: A 50MP Sony main camera and a 32MP selfie camera.
  • Durability: Six MIL-STD-810H tests and IP68 and IP69 ratings, in lab conditions. Vivo notes it is not a professional waterproof phone.
  • Software: OriginOS 6. The phone is made at vivo’s Greater Noida plant.

The Guinness claim

Vivo says the phone holds a Guinness World Record for the longest electronic product testing live stream, at 32 hours 37 minutes. A footnote says the record was set in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on August 11, 2026, by the “vivo V80 Lite 5G”, which is the same phone marketed as the S2 FE in India, under specific conditions.
