iLink Digital Unifies Business Units Under Single ‘AI First’ Operating Model

iLink Digital, an AI-led digital transformation company, announced a company-wide reorganisation that brings its five business units, Data & AI, Digital Engineering, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and AI Business Solutions, under a single AI-first operating model. The new structure brings together these capabilities through one AI transformation offering, one delivery framework and one go-to-market approach, reflecting how enterprises are increasingly approaching AI transformation as an integrated business and technology priority.

The shift comes as the boundaries between these technology disciplines continue to converge. Data and AI initiatives increasingly require secure infrastructure, engineering teams are building with AI and agent deployment in mind, and security considerations are becoming integral to enterprise AI adoption. iLink’s new operating model is designed to bring these capabilities together from the outset, enabling teams to work as one integrated organisation rather than across separate business units.

“AI is changing not just what enterprises build, but how they approach transformation. As data, engineering, infrastructure, security and AI become increasingly interconnected, our operating model needs to reflect the way our clients are solving these challenges. Bringing these capabilities together allows us to work as one integrated team, with a sharper focus on business outcomes and greater consistency from strategy to execution. This is an important step in strengthening how we operate as an AI-first organisation and deliver real impact for our clients” said Sree Balaji, Co-Founder & Group CEO, iLink Digital

A Unified Leadership Team

Under the new model, iLink’s executive team will operate through clearly defined charters spanning the business.

  • Ambuj Parihar, Chief Business Officer: Owns all revenue, including new logos, account growth and group company revenue.
  • Sakthi Kannan, Chief Growth Officer: Owns growth, strategy and innovation, including practices, partnerships, go to market and presales.
  • Ratheesh C Krishnageeth, Chief Operations Officer: Owns delivery, including AI first delivery, the talent engine and product engineering.
  • Sreenivasan R, Chief Financial Officer: Owns EBITDA, including forecasting, financial discipline and the company’s path to IPO.
  • Shankar Anakavour, Chief Compliance Officer: Owns compliance and revenue assurance.
  • Saravanan Karunanithi, CEO, Strategic Expansion: Owns group companies, M&A, and HR

Global Group Companies Leadership

The wider group is represented by leaders across its specialist companies and international markets, including:

  • Maria Julia Orozco, CEO, Ultrasist, Mexico
  • Gloria Rosenberg, CEO, Market Fusion Analytics, U.S.
  • Alan Haefele, CEO, Europe and Africa, Haefele Software
  • Gabriela Fonseca, Chief Growth Officer, Derevo, Mexico
  • Bernardo Simões, CEO, OSQuay and ITUp, Portugal
  • Karthik Pillai, CEO, FourNxt, UAE and India
  • Varun Reddy, CEO, Fragma Data Systems, India and UAE

Under the new model, these leaders will work more closely with iLink’s core executive team, bringing specialist regional expertise into a common go-to-market motion while retaining their market and business responsibilities.

“AI first delivery only means something if it’s the same standard everywhere our teams operate. Bringing delivery, talent and product engineering together under one charter lets us give every client, in every region, the same discipline and the same speed.” said Ratheesh C Krishnageeth, Chief Operations Officer

“Growth today isn’t about chasing new markets one at a time, it’s about showing up wherever our clients are already building. This structure lets our practices, partnerships and go-to-market motion move as one, everywhere we operate.” said Sakthi Kannan, Chief Growth Officer.

Two New Strategic Committees

To strengthen decision-making around the company’s strategic investments, iLink is also establishing two committees, both chaired by Sree Balaji.

  • The iLink Ventures Committee will determine which internal IP is funded, developed and taken to market as productised offerings.
  • The Practice Strategy Committee will determine which practices the company invests in, scales or sunsets based on business priorities and market opportunities.

Both committees will operate across individual functions, bringing different perspectives into decisions around the company’s technology investments and future growth areas.

Looking Ahead

The new operating model reflects iLink’s ambition to operate as an AI first, client focused organisation. Its people, capabilities, and expertise remain in place, while the new structure is designed to bring them together more effectively around customer needs and business outcomes.
